Adams County, Colorado 03

Saturday August 2nd, 2003...WeJD Platt & Galaxy were very excited to be returning to the Adams County Fair near Denver, Colorado for our 2003 season opener.  Once again the weather gods smiled on us with beautiful conditions along front range of the Rocky Mountains. The wind stayedChristi & Rider mild for most of the morning and early afternoon but began to swirl and change directions later in the day. This became a factor when the Pro Division started their Distance event causing some competitors to change field sides during their run.  Congratulations to Pro JD Platt & Galaxy (Team Precise) with a great win and excellent overall performances in the different events. JD hit zones 7 with Galaxy and zone 8 with Riverhawk during theMark Brisse & Gabby Distance event and had a top notch scoring effort of 15 points on the Obstacle Course with Galaxy. In second place was Pro Christi Goodman & Rider who wowed the crowd with fantastic freestyle performances. Congratulations to AM Jeff Mueller and Bandit who took the top spot Joe Jone & Kyliein the Amateur Division. The best Small Dog award went to Andy Busby and LC. 

A great time was enjoyed by all. The after party that evening was a doggone great affair with food provided by Pro Disc Dog, Inc. and beverages by Flying Dog Beer. Marie Earle & BoThe evening ended with a super fireworks display.
