A beauitful park setting combined with sunshine, water, seafood,. music and disc dogs is what it was all about. Many thanks to the Maddogs for hosting the first event of the year. Ray Lowman has got to be the hardest working club member on the face of the planet, he’s got more energy than the energizer bunny! Many thanks Ray.

Once again congrats to Jeff Stanaway & CoJo on winning the Pro Division. A much improved Frank Buckland & Shiloh took 2nd place and wowed the judges and crowed with a performance that was full of joy and happiness. For the second year in a row Peter Williams & Lena placed third. They were poised to take second but in the Speed Disc event they just could not smoothly connect the completion’s and when time ran out they had only 2 catches. I will say that Peter has a very interesting performance style that he has incorporated into his freestyle routine. I hope he will find the time to connect with more FDDO’s in the future so that you can experience his energetic routine. Thanks to both Frank and Peter.

In the Amateur Division we saw some new faces. Congrats to Kim Miller & Peggie Sue who had 10 points on the Obstacle Course and it was her first time! That performance made the difference despite 0 points on the Pyramid. Way to go Kim! Second place when to Bernie Jackson & Reggie who showed consistency by scoring in all the events but came up short in the Pyramid completing only one toss. A tie for 1st place left Bernie a little short as Kim’s 10 on the OC gave her the tiebreakers edge. Third place went to Patricia Straymer & Hunny.

Overall, it was good times, good friends and good memories. Thanks again to all who participated.
