Our 2005 season opener was a great success. Many thanks to all the teams who came to Naperville, Il and enjoyed the FDDO/UFO weekend of disc dogging. A big doggone thanks to Tom Wehrli and the Windy City Disc Dog Club who were fine hosts and made us feel very welcomed. Congratulation to Tony Hoard & Rory winning the event by 1.5 points over Adrian Custer who was the only pro team to hit the top of the distance pyramid. Taking third place by a slim quarter point was 2004 FDDO National Champions Mark Brisse & Gabby. Marie Earle & Nana had an exciting run on the Speed Disc course scoring 8.5 points as well as sharing the highest freestyle score of the day. I must thank our staff for all the hard work they put into the set up and running of this event, it is a labor of love. Finally, thanks to Tony Aguirre for doing a wonderful job announcing.
